OnDuty365/Solutions/AI Connector
AI connector

Your AI assistant,
connected to your operation.

Connect the AI assistant your team already uses — Claude, ChatGPT, or any assistant that supports remote MCP connectors — to your OnDuty365 workspace. It can read your sites, duties, staffing gaps and compliance status, prepare draft sites and duties, and suggest the best-fit guards. Always within your account permissions. Always read-and-draft only.

Capabilities

What the connector can do.

The connector has two modes: reading what your account can already see, and producing drafts for a person to approve inside OnDuty365.

Read your operation

Sites, positions, duties, roster gaps, and staff compliance summaries. Only what your account can already see. No documents, no salary data, no data from other tenants.

Prepare drafts

Draft sites, draft positions, and draft duties land in OnDuty365 for a person to review and publish. Nothing takes effect on its own. Every draft is marked with who created it and how.

Recommend the right guard

Best-fit suggestions ranked by licence status, scheduling conflicts, and site preferences. The assistant surfaces the options; the decision stays with your team.

Security model

Designed to stay inside the lines.

The connector is a draft factory with a hard boundary. Here is exactly what that means in practice.

Acts as you, never more

The connector authenticates as the signed-in user. It can only access what that account can already see. Role boundaries and tenant isolation apply to every call.

Draft-only writes with in-app approval

The assistant can create drafts. Publishing, sending notifications, finalising pay runs, and all other live actions require a person to confirm inside OnDuty365. The confirming action is always in-app.

Logged, attributable, revocable

Every connector action writes an audit log attributed to the user and the connected assistant. You can see exactly what the assistant did. Disconnect any time from Settings. The connector can never change roles, delete users, publish rosters, send messages, or touch billing.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

Which AI assistants work with the OnDuty365 connector?

Any AI client that supports remote MCP connectors with OAuth 2.1 works, including Claude and ChatGPT (on plans that support custom MCP connectors). The connector URL is https://onduty365.com/api/mcp.

Is my operational data safe when I connect an AI assistant?

The connector acts as you — it can only access what your account can already see, never more. Every action is logged and attributed. Draft writes require in-app approval before anything takes effect. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

What can the AI assistant change in my OnDuty365 workspace?

The connected AI is a draft factory only. It can create draft sites, draft duties, and draft roster suggestions for a person to review and publish inside the app. It cannot publish rosters, send messages, change roles, delete users, touch billing, or take any action that affects live operations.
