OnDuty365 checks a guard against the official state security licence register before they can accept a duty. All eight Australian state and territory registers are covered. OCR reads the document and flags expiry dates. A guard with an expired or unverified licence is blocked at the gate, not discovered after the fact.

A scanned copy in a folder is not a live licence check. Expiries slip, documents get renewed without anyone updating the file, and a client audit finds it first.

NSW licence status is checked against the official register automatically. For the other seven states and territories, OnDuty365 records the verified result from the state portal and tracks expiry from there. A guard whose licence cannot be verified or has passed expiry cannot accept a duty. The check runs again on re-verification, before the next duty cycle.
